MANTIS Assistant Director Dr. Tianxing Chu recently participated in GELS Camp, where he showcased remote sensing technologies and introduced young students to their practical applications. The session demonstrated how geospatial data and technologies can support the observation, mapping, and analysis of the Earth’s surface. Dr. Chu’s participation provided campers with exposure to an interdisciplinary field that integrates science, engineering, computing, and geographic information.
